Meet Chantel

A hometown CPA who keeps the work human

Hi — I’m Chantel Galaz, CPA. I enjoy the work, and I also enjoy living life as myself. There’s little point in running a firm if clients can’t breathe a little easier too.

I’m not here to judge lifestyle choices, messy books, or a year that got away from you. I’m here to help. I graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with my B.A. in 2010, spent nearly a decade learning inside CPA firms across East Texas and the DFW area, and opened my own practice in 2017.

I’m a wife to Ruben and a mom to two boys. I know what it is to put family first and still need the taxes and bookkeeping handled well. Let me take that stress so you can focus on what matters.

Straight answers before you reach out

Do you work with both individuals and businesses?

Yes. Services include individual and business income tax returns, tax planning, bookkeeping and accounting review, payroll and sales tax reporting, business setup support, and IRS help when needed.

Can everything be handled virtually?

Yes. After we talk, many clients complete the full process virtually using the secure client portal. In-office meetings, calls, and video appointments are also available by appointment.

How do I share documents?

Current clients use the TaxDome portal to upload documents, ask questions, and sign forms. There is also a secure drop box at the Lindale office for standard envelopes.

What should new clients know about timing?

The goal is a thoughtful turnaround once information is complete. If details arrive late in the season, an extension may be the responsible path so the return is done correctly.
